Our vision is to grow ball hockey into a unifying force for Armenians everywhere both in Armenia and across the diaspora by creating opportunities for participation, competition, and community. Through the sport, we aim to celebrate and strengthen Armenian culture, connecting people to their heritage while fostering teamwork, leadership, and pride. We envision a future where Armenian ball hockey not only excels on the international stage but also serves as a vibrant bridge, bringing together generations, promoting healthy lifestyles, and inspiring global recognition of Armenia’s rich cultural identity through the power of sport.

Eddie is the founder and creator of the Montreal Knights, an organization established with a clear vision to develop talent, foster a passion for the game, and provide meaningful opportunities for athletes to grow both on and off the ice.

This vision is built on a foundation of discipline, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. From the outset, Eddie has been dedicated to creating a program that not only competes at a high level, but also emphasizes character development, teamwork, and long-term athlete success. By integrating technology into the development process, Eddie ensures that athletes have access to cutting-edge tools and insights to maximize their performance.

By leveraging Speed.ca's expertise, the platform will showcase a growing network of Armenian hockey prospects, helping connect players with opportunities across North America, Europe, and beyond.

Ara Vanlian is an accomplished coach in various sports and a very passionate ball hockey enthusiast. He was a player with the original United Arms team in the early 2000’s which set the ground work in creating the IABHA in 2012. He brings with him a passion for our sport, our culture and a grand will to define our identity within local organisations and various Armenian sports associations. His recent visit to Armenia in early 2025 gave him the insight to get involved with our program, reconnect with the sport and look to develop young hockey players towards representing our various teams under our Nation of Armenia.

He will have an advisory role both on and off the field, as a coach and consultant to players and the General manager in building and growing the sport. He takes pride in being patient, available for all players and colleagues.
